- At Small World Kids it’s important for us to offer you a secure transaction environment, and this extends beyond the transaction itself. Any information you provide will be treated in the strictest confidence and will be kept secure. It will not be sold, rented or shared with a 3rd party, unless needed to complete your transaction through one of our authorised and secure suppliers.
- Any personal information such as email addresses, postal addresses or telephone numbers provided will be used for the express purpose of completing your transaction, except where you have registered to receive communications or further information from us.
- We want to keep our customers up-to-date with information on new products and accolades, as well as offer special promotions to our valued customers on a regular basis. Should you wish to register to receive such information via email, post or mobile we will keep your information secure. - PayPal uses industry-leading encryption to ensure buyer’s data is secure. Any personal information is stored on PayPal’s own servers and is heavily guarded as it is never directly connected to the internet. PayPal also use state-of-the-art fraud prevention and monitor transactions 24/7 to help prevent cyber crime.
- Return Policy
- The team at Small World Kids understand that good customer service is paramount. Our return and exchange policies are designed to give our customers flexibility and make shopping with us a fun and easy experience. Should you have an issue that is not addressed below please email us at info@smallworldkids.biz for further information.
- We offer a 14 day money back return policy for all non-custom or personalised items. If you wish to return your product for any reason we offer a full refund as long as it is returned to us within 14 days of your receiving it, is in original condition, with all packaging and/or tags intact. All shipping costs relating to the return of the item to Small World Kids Ltd. must be paid by the customer. We strongly advise you to obtain a proof of posting and insure the item as it is your responsibility until it is received and inspected by Small World Kids. Your refund will be processed upon receipt and inspection of the item. Please note that the refund will occur through the original payment method used. We aim to make all refunds within 30 days of the item’s receipt, but please note your banking institution may add additional days to the process. To start the refund process please email info@smallworldkids.biz with your order number and ‘REFUND’ clearly stated in the email subject heading.
- Please note that all sales of customised or personalised items are final and will not be considered for refund or exchange unless the item is damaged or faulty. Small World Kids reserve the right to refuse an item for refund or exchange if we consider the returned item is not in a resaleable or original condition with all packaging intact upon inspection. In this situation we will advise the customer that they are not eligible for a refund via the contact details provided in the order. In the unlikely event that the product is faulty or damaged we will replace it free of charge including shipping costs within 5 working days of receiving the original damaged item, as long as the replacement item is in stock. In the event that we are out of stock of the replacement item, we will contact the customer to discuss an agreeable resolution. Please email info@smallworldkids.biz to initiate the return process for a faulty item with ‘FAULTY’ clearly stated in the email subject line, and include your order number.
- We take care in selecting the shipping partners we use, but sometimes things beyond our control happen. Please inspect all boxes or envelopes on receipt for damage. If the box or container is damaged please draw it to the attention of the delivery service and mark ‘DAMAGED’ on the shipping form before they have left your premises. You may then contact us at info@smallworldkids.biz, quoting your order number, to discuss replacement.
- Warranty
- Where items carry a warranty and fail due to no fault of the user within the warranty period they will be replaced. Items carrying a warranty will be clearly marked on the relevant product page. In the event of failure please contact us at info@smallworldkids.biz to discuss repair or replacement. Please ensure to quote your order number and state ‘WARRANTY’ in the email subject line.
- Exchange Policy
- If a customer is dissatisfied with the size or colour of an ordered item we will accept exchanges, provided the original item is returned in an undamaged and original condition with all packaging intact. The exchange will be made provided the replacement item is in stock. In the case of an exchange the customer shall be responsible for all return shipping costs, as well as the shipping costs associated with Small World Kids sending the new item out to the customer. Please email us at info@smallworldkids.biz to discuss an exchange, clearing stating ‘EXCHANGE’ in the email title.
- Gift Returns
- Should you have received an unsuitable or unwanted gift ordered from Small World Kids we will arrange a credit or exchange. Please contact us via email at info@smallworldkids.biz stating the order number if known, and stating ‘GIFT RETURN’ in the subject heading to arrange a return. Please note that custom or personalised items will not be eligible for exchange or credit. Please note that hygiene and safety may prevent us from accepting returns of some items. Where this is the case we will state that the item is not eligible for return or exchange in the product description.
- Order Processing
- We really value your custom, so within 2 days of our receiving confirmation of a completed checkout we will email you an order number and confirm the order details. Please keep this order number secure as you will need it in the event you need to contact us.
- All goods remain the property of Small World Kids until confirmation of payment has been received.
- Availability
- If for any reason beyond our reasonable control we are unable to supply any goods to you we will notify you at the earliest opportunity using the information provided by you during your transaction. If any of the goods are out of stock we will endeavour to specify this on our website. If, however, you place an order for goods which we subsequently discover to be out of stock, we will inform you of this and advise you of the likely timescales for delivery of such goods.
- Delivery
- We at Small World Kids understand the value of time in your busy lives, so we aim to dispatch all orders within 5 working days. We also understand that every penny often counts so we will always try to ship your item by the most economical and secure method available. Our preferred shipping partner is the Royal Mail for packages under 4kg. We use their 'Recorded Tracked' service in the UK, and their Airsure airmail service for international orders. For items of a heavier weight, or travelling to international destinations we also use DHL and Parcelforce. Where possible you will be given the choice of shipping methods during the transaction, and your selection and associated cost will be confirmed during checkout. We will notify you when your item has been dispatched, and confirm the delivery method. In the event that a product is out of stock or there is an unforeseen delay that will result in your item being delivered outside of our standard timeline, we will contact you using the details provided during your order.
- Delivery timelines are not guaranteed but we always send our products quickly. If a time-specified shipping option is chosen at checkout we will do everything within our power to ensure that the item arrives within the specified timeline, however we cannot be responsible for this aspect. Small World Kids will always provide tracking information for those items shipped by courier or Special Delivery.
- If you need your order quickly or a Saturday delivery please choose the appropriate Special Delivery option during checkout. Please note that items must be ordered before 2pm to be eligible for next day delivery. Delivery outside of the UK and to outlying areas of the UK may be charged at a higher rate and this will be specified during the time of transaction. Please note that delivery times outside of the UK may be longer.
- International customers should please note that any Customs or Duty costs levied will be the responsibility of the customer. Where possible we will aim to provide a quote for these costs by working with the shipping company.

- All prices quoted at the time of the transaction are final. Any reductions or subsequent price changes after the transaction is completed will not be applied.

- VAT is included on all of our products where applicable. For items which are zero rated for VAT like our baby sleeping bags, no VAT has been charged to you, our customer.

- We understand that the convenience of an online store means you can’t always see all the angles of a product. We will endeavour to show as many product views as are available to us.
